Don’t Miss Out on the PNW Big Badass Real Estate Wealth Expo 2018

The biggest real estate conference in the Pacific Northwest is coming up soon, and today I’m joined by Tarl on-site at one of his new home renovation projects to tell you all about it and give you an update on his latest flip.

The house in question sits on a beautiful five-acre property in Issaquah. Every inch of it, from the inside to the outside, has been completely redone, and it’s been a monstrous undertaking for Tarl and his company, but they’re almost done with it. A real estate agent brought Tarl this project a little bit ago, and at one point he debated moving into it himself because he and his family liked it so much.

Tarl’s business, Fixated, flips a lot of houses, and they’ve learned a lot of valuable lessons over the years. One of those lessons is how to work with agents. One of the reasons they like working with agents and agents like working with them is the repeat business, meaning the listbacks on both the buying side and on the back end. The agent that brought this house to Tarl got a front-end commission for it because it was on the MLS. They also got a fee as an added bonus. On top of that, when Tarl lists the house for more than double what they paid for it, the agent that brought it to them will get the back-end listback at the full 6% rate.

This same agent has brought Tarl multiple properties over the years, and they keep getting those listbacks. If you find other real estate investors such as Tarl who you can sell a property like this to and then have them upgrade it, you can then resell it on the back end for two or three times what you originally sold it for on the front end.

If you’re a broker who doesn’t yet have an investment partner, your goal is to go from a 1:1 transaction to 1:10 transaction

If you want to find more real estate investors like Tarl or learn more ways to find off-market deals, the Pacific Northwest Big Badass Real Estate Wealth Expo 2018 is a great place to do so. This conference will be held at The Westin and The W hotel in Bellevue, Washington from April 27 to April 29.

There will be many educational opportunities at this event, including tutorials on how to do off-market deals and find sellers. These are the same tactics Tarl and his team use to find deals from distressed sellers. They’ll also be hosting two cocktail parties and a VIP dinner on Friday and Saturday night. Additionally, there will be a charity auction and as many as 50 vendors in attendance.

There is a lot to learn and many connections you can make at this event. If you’re a broker who doesn’t yet have an investment partner, your goal is to go from a 1:1 transaction to a 1:5 or 1:10 transaction and leverage a whole network of clients and productive relationships, and this conference can help you get there.

To get all the details and learn everything you need to know about this event, you can visit www.pnwrealestateexpo.com. If you type “Moncord” into the discount code when you register and buy your ticket, you’ll get $75 off.

I want to thank Tarl for joining me today. If you have any questions or there’s anything else I can assist you with, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’d be glad to help you.
